VHS Seminar: Dorn Method & Breuss Massage

The VHS offers a two-part weekend seminar entitled "Dorn Method & Breuss Massage - Help for Self-Help for Your Back". It takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 March, 10:00-17:00, in the VHS relaxation room, Hemdener Weg 21. The seminar is led by Bettina Simon-Dreßen, who, as a non-medical practitioner, has specialised in "Dorn Breuss, osteopathy and manual lymph drainage". The easy-to-learn and gentle method developed by Dieter Dorn makes it possible to correct or prevent joint and vertebral misalignments and thus to alleviate or completely eliminate joint pain and muscle tension. In addition to the theoretical basics, self-help exercises according to Dorn are practised under expert guidance. In addition, the gentle back massage according to R. Breuss is carried out in partner exercises. This massage relieves the spine and the back muscles are relaxed.
It is recommended to attend the intensive course, which is held in a small group of maximum eight people, together with a partner. The cost of materials and equipment (massage oil, massage tables, etc.) is included in the course fee. Please bring along: A woollen blanket, a towel, comfortable clothes, a drink and a snack for lunch.
