Neustadt is a combined shopping and leisure area. The spacious shopping arcades have a two-storey mall with underground car park. The open shopping centre "Mein Neutor" has the character of a shopping street and forms the gateway to the city centre in a prominent location. The extended Aa-Ufer and the Neutorplatz, which will be redesigned in 2021, ensure a pleasant place to linger.
