This summer, there will once again be an Aasee Festival at the bathing bay in Bocholt near Strandcafé Ottilie.

From 15 to 17 August, visitors can look forward to a free stage and entertainment programme for the whole family presented by RADIO WMW - a real holiday highlight! For three days, you can enjoy the summer to the full in one of the most beautiful places in Bocholt: Listen to music, relax, party, play, laugh and simply have a great time. Numerous food trucks, drinks stands, cocktail bars and the popular Strandcafé Ottilie will once again be catering for your physical well-being.

ACCESS & PARKING

The car park directly behind the bathing bay on Hohenhorster Straße and the residential area behind it are closed to cars during the Aasee Festival.

Travelling by bike is strongly recommended!

All visitors who have to travel by car are urgently requested to use the car parks around Bocholter Aasee and thus show consideration for the residents living in the immediate vicinity.

The following car parks are available directly at the Aasee:

At the Aasee Bocholt leisure centre, Hochfeldstraße 56b
Uhlandstraße 50 at the LWL Museum of Industrial Culture
Im Königsesch 5 at Mc Donalds
Im Königsesch 39 at the Kneipp association
Park & Ride car park Am Ostring

The longest distance from the car park to the bathing bay is a maximum of 1,500m. People with the G or aG mark on their disabled person's pass or other physical disabilities who are dependent on the use of a car are requested to contact City Marketing in advance.

All bicycles can be parked in the car park directly behind the bathing bay on Hohenhorster Straße. Bicycles may not be parked in the event area directly at the bathing bay or around the Ottilie beach café.

ACCESSIBILITY

Persons who are dependent on a disabled parking space are requested to contact Stadtmarketing Bocholt in advance by telephone: 02871/ 29 49 33 0 or by e-mail at schmitt(at)bocholt-stadtmarketing(dot)de.

The event site is barrier-free. However, the ground is mostly grass.

A barrier-free WC is available.
