Bocholter-Aa cycle path
The region around the Bocholter-Aa lies embedded in the park landscape of Münsterland and the "Hohe-Mark-Westmünsterland" nature park. The 58 km long river rises in Velen and meanders past Borken, Rhede, Bocholt and Isselburg towards the Netherlands. Cafés along the way, the Pröbsting See leisure complex in Borken, the hydroelectric screw in Rhede, the Bocholter-Aasee lake with its wide range of leisure activities and the moated castle in Anholt make you want to take a trip.
Thanks to well-developed cycle routes signposted by the junction system, the return journey is also very easy on other routes.
Or you can use the FietsenBus for the return journey , which runs from 1 May to 3 October on Sundays and public holidays.
