Stadtmarketing Bocholt is the first point of contact when it comes to events in Bocholt. Events such as the Bocholt funfair, the Bocholt Christmas market, the wine festival or the open Sundays are fixed in the programme every year. But the team also always has new highlights up its sleeve, such as the Bocholt Open Air, the Aasee Festival or the Bocholt Gardens. The tasks of the city marketing team also include looking after and supplying the markets in Bocholt, such as the Bocholt weekly market, the market stall market and the evening market. City management is all about marketing Bocholt as a shopping city and revitalising Bocholt's city centre in cooperation with the local businesses. In 2022, City Marketing was allowed to implement the city anniversary 800 years of Bocholt with many big highlights with and for the citizens.
