The Farmers Rock Festival is an initiative of the sports club F.C. Grün-Weiß Lankern on the occasion of their 50th anniversary in 2025, hence the special music selection - 50 years of GW Lankern - 50 years of rock history.
This special inter-communal collaboration between Bocholt's city marketing department and the GW Lankern sports club took place once before in 2019.

On the beautiful, rurally situated club grounds, a small, fine festival village will be set up for festival visitors that evening with delicious food and drink stands, cosy retreats, a decent-sized stage and, above all, absolutely first-class cover music. The organisation pays particular attention to detail in the design and creates a feel-good atmosphere for visitors - the best conditions for a great summer festival party :-)

Card payment is possible at the box office and at the token tills (drinks). In some cases, only cash payment is possible at the food trucks.

The festival starts on 09 August at 17:30 with the first band. Each band has a maximum playing time of 1.5 hours. In between there will be short breaks of about 30 minutes. So you can expect a long evening of music into the night :-)

There are sufficient parking spaces available for your car near the festival site. The parking fee for cars is 3,-€.

We are happy to welcome all those travelling by bike. The bicycle car park is located directly in front of the entrance to the festival site. There is a charge of 1,-€ for this car park.

A bus shuttle will not be organised. Taxis can use the taxi lane close to the festival entrance.

Unfortunately not. Camping chairs or other furniture, whether foldable or not, may not be taken onto the festival site for safety reasons.

You will find seating in the snack area on the site. However, the beautiful green lawn of Grün-Weiß Lankern will have to suffice for a short break in between :-).

Wheelchairs and walking frames are of course allowed on the site.

Yes, exactly. People who are severely disabled and have the G mark on their disabled person's pass are admitted free of charge for the person accompanying them. You pay the normal admission price.
