Free BOHJazz concert at LernWerk

Jazz guitarist Christian Hassenstein's trio plays every two months in the LernWerk annex in Bocholt. The guest soloist for this concert is jazz trumpeter Gerard Kleijn. The concert starts at 8 pm, admission is free.

The soloist, Gerard Kleijn, is a Dutch jazz trumpeter and composer. He studied jazz trumpet in Hilversum, Rotterdam and later in New York. He has enjoyed great success with his music not only throughout Europe, but also internationally. He has played in Syria, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Early on, he led his own groups and recorded 12 CDs of his own compositions as (co-)bandleader. Gerard Kleijn is a regular accompanist for ensembles and big bands. He is also a dedicated trumpet teacher, workshop leader and conductor of several big bands.

The concert will take place in the Appendix - in the extension of the LernWerk with access from the Aa side (Industriestraße 1, 46395 Bocholt).
