...to Bocholt's neighbours on both sides of the border. Experience the idyllic and varied surroundings of our city.

DAY 1: After a welcome drink in your centrally located hotel, hop straight onto your bikes. Follow the Hohe Mark cycle route past Bocholter Aasee, one of the largest leisure facilities in Münsterland, to the Dingdener Heide nature reserve and the charming neighbouring town of Rhede. You return to Bocholt through the Bocholt city forest. You can round off the day with a relaxed dinner in one of Bocholt's many restaurants. (short tour approx. 35 km).

DAY 2 : The Flamingo Route takes you to the moorland waters of the Burlo-Vardingholter Venn and along old smugglers' paths towards Oeding. Cross the Green Border to the Dutch nature reserve Bekendelle, where the picturesque Boven-Slinge meanders through the oldest forest in Winterswijk. Make sure you stop at the old watermill! Lekker kopje koffie met gebak! Winterswijk is known for its varied range of shops and the market with its fish, cheese and vegetable stalls is a popular destination on this cycle tour. In the evening, you can redeem your second meal voucher in a cosy Bocholt restaurant. (53 km).

DAY 3: If you fancy another great cycle tour, the idyllic Bocholter Aa cycle path takes you to the climbing forest at Pröbstingsee. Then turn off to the romantic moated castle of Gemen. You return via an old railway line, through the Prinzenbusch in Rhede and the Bocholt city forest. (50 km).
