Fire and rescue service
Rescue, extinguish, recover, protect ...
... that's our job! When it comes to fighting fires and providing assistance in the event of accidents and other public emergencies caused by natural events, explosions or similar incidents, the fire brigade is in demand.
The Bocholt fire brigade controls its operations from the control centre on Dingdener Straße. From here, the fire brigade goes out on rescue missions and coordinates emergencies. Because often every minute counts.
Even when there is no fire, the fire and rescue station is used for drills and training to be prepared for emergencies. Full-time firefighters ensure a quick response in an emergency. They are supported by more than 300 volunteer firefighters.
