Traffic: Start of construction for traffic circle at St.-Agnes-Hospital

A new traffic circle will be built at the Barloer Weg / Sauerbruchstraße intersection in the coming months. For this purpose, the traffic routing in this area will be changed from Tuesday, April 19, for an expected period of several months, the city of Bocholt informs.

Barloer Weg remains passable from the direction of Winterswijker Straße (Schaub Siedlung) up to the level of the street "Im Ellerbrock". Motorists cannot reach Sauerbruchstraße via Barloer Weg - however, the construction site area can be accessed in the opposite direction from Sauerbruchstraße in the direction of Barloer Weg.

Barloer Weg is accessible in both directions for visitors and employees of the hospital up to the parking lot at St. Agnes Hospital, so the hospital and the medical centers remain accessible. For better orientation, an information board will be erected.

Access to the emergency room from the ground is possible via Winterswijker STraße, Robert-Koch-Ring and Sauerbruchstraße.

Pedestrian and bicycle traffic can safely pass the construction site area.
