Nesting boxes for Fildeken-Rosenberg

Comprehensive school students and NABU give birds a home // Public walk on March 17.

In cooperation with NABU (NABU-Kreisverband Borken e.V.), students of the Städtische Gesamtschule Bocholt built ten nesting boxes for Fildeken-Rosenberg.

Just in time for the breeding season, the nesting boxes will be hung up in the district. On March 17, a public walk through the district will take place, where the colorfully designed nesting boxes can be admired. Rudolf Souilljee from NABU accompanied the construction of the nest boxes. During the walk, he will provide information about species protection and bird lore. The walk will start at 3 p.m. at the QuartiersHaus on Saarstraße.

The action was supported by the neighborhood management Fildeken-Rosenberg and financed by the municipal disposition fund.
