Monday, 22 April, from 18:30-21 at SkF Bocholt // Focus topic "Disease patterns" // Participation free of charge
The city of Bocholt is organising a free training course in cooperation with the local care associations. The event will take place on Monday, 22 January and is aimed at voluntary carers, authorised representatives and citizens interested in the topic. It starts at 6.30 p.m. at the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen (SkF) on Langenbergstraße 18. Registrations are required by calling 02871/25 18 2-20.
Public training series "HealthTALK" on Wednesday, 10 April, at 6 pm in the Media Centre
The third lecture in the "GesundheitsTALK" training series will take place on Wednesday, 10 April. Lawyer Gabriele Theling will provide information on the subject of "Private provision - power of attorney, living will, care". The talk will begin at 6 p.m. in the Bocholt Media Centre. Admission is free.

Christmas campaign in refugee accommodation together with St. Helena daycare centre
Bocholt - The children and parents of the St Helena daycare centre in Barlo have now given the residents of the refugee accommodation on Werther Straße a special gift: there was a wish campaign in which more than 50 presents were distributed. Mayor and DRK City Association Chairman Thomas Kerkhoff honours blood donors
"A little prick for a blood donation doesn't hurt, but their blood donation can save lives," were the words of Thomas Kerkhoff, Mayor of the City of Bocholt and Chairman of the Board of the DRK-Stadtverband Bocholt, on the occasion of this year's blood donor honour at the premises of the German Red Cross on Goerdeler Straße.
Bocholt citizens voted // 66 % in favour of the "Takenkamp" site, 34 % against // Voter turnout at 39 %.
In the Biemenhorst district of Bocholt, a shelter for refugees can be built on the municipal property "Auf dem Takenkamp". This was decided by a majority of Bocholt citizens in a referendum on Sunday. Around 22,600 citizens took part in the referendum. This corresponds to a turnout of almost 39%.
