Leopoldstraße will be closed due to hydrant replacement works

Leopoldstraße will be closed to motor vehicle traffic at the end of the month, immediately at the junction with Münsterstraße. This is due to the need to replace a fire hydrant, which is expected to take place between 22 June and 22 July 2026. No diversion will be put in place for this work.

As the work is taking place on the road, the pavements are not affected by the closure. Pedestrians will therefore be able to pass through the construction site safely for the entire duration of the works. The City of Bocholt asks road users for their understanding regarding the disruption caused by the works.
