Furniture storage and neighbourhood help

The furniture warehouse in Bocholt is run by the non-profit organisation Helfende Hände St. Josef Bocholt e. V.. This institution emerged in August 2025 from an initiative that had been in existence for over five years in order to put the diverse voluntary work on a firm footing. The central leitmotif of the work is Christian charity, which is also firmly anchored in the association's statutes

Furniture warehouse

The organisation offers practical and unbureaucratic help in various areas of life:

  • Furniture and household goods: Support is provided to refugees and people in need by procuring and arranging furniture, among other things.

  • Practical everyday help: The team offers assistance with visits to the doctor, support in filling out forms and carrying out minor repairs.

  • Social commitment: Through dialogue and joint activities, the team actively tries to counteract the loneliness of fellow citizens.
