The independent committee of experts on property values in the town of Bocholt is launching an online survey to gather data on commercial rents. Around 650 owners of commercial properties will be contacted in order to compile a reliable overview of the local market for the first time. The project aims to bring about significantly greater transparency in Bocholt's commercial property market.

Kampstraße to be temporarily closed in mid-August

Kampstraße will be partially closed to motorised traffic at the junction with Werther Straße during the second half of August. The reason for this is the installation of a mobile phone mast. The restrictions are expected to last from 17 August to 28 August.

From Monday 10 August 2026, road users on Blücherstraße should expect disruption. This is due to work on the roll-out of the fibre-optic network. The works will begin with a one-way system and will subsequently continue as a moving roadworks site.

A temporary partial closure has been put in place on Industriestraße, near number 3. The measure affects the footpath and cycle path, as well as the parking lane in that area. Cyclists are being diverted onto the carriageway and the speed limit in this area has been reduced to 30 km/h.

This is due to the accessibility-focused refurbishment of this area, which will bring about a lasting improvement in access to local public transport. Due to sewer works being carried out by the Bocholt Waste Management and Services Company (ESB), the Böggeringstraße/Lowicker Straße roundabout will be partially closed from 20 July. A diversion will be signposted at the site.
