Bocholter-Aa cycle path

The region around the Bocholter-Aa is embedded in the Münsterland park landscape and the "Hohe-Mark-Westmünsterland" nature park. The 58 km long river has its source in Velen and meanders past Borken, Rhede, Bocholt and Isselburg towards the Netherlands. Cafés along the way, the Pröbsting See leisure centre in Borken, the hydropower snail in Rhede, the Bocholter-Aasee lake with its wide range of leisure activities and the moated castle in Anholt make you want to take a trip.

Thanks to the well-developed cycle paths, which are signposted by the junction system, it is also easy to return via other routes.
