"Nettes and bric-a-brac" at the bulky waste exchange on Saturday

The waste advisory service of the waste disposal and service company (ESB) invites you to the first bulky waste exchange of the year. On 24 May, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, junk enthusiasts can search for exciting finds in the vehicle hall at Schaffeldstraße 74 and give them a new home for a donation.

Over the past few weeks, the staff at the recycling centre have been on the lookout for items that are suitable for sale as part of the bulky waste exchange. The collection container is now well filled, with a focus on small decorative items.

Support from Bocholt associations

The realisation of the bulky waste exchange is supported by volunteers. The Child Protection Association is involved in setting up the event, while the THW youth organisation helps with dismantling and clearing up and acts as a steward.

Donations for the youth farm

The bulky waste exchange encourages the reuse of well-preserved items and thus promotes sustainability. The sale also supports charitable organisations in Bocholt - this year, the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Bocholt youth farm "Mit Dir" e.V. Employees of the youth farm will also be helping with the sale at the event and will be happy to answer any questions.
