High Mark Route

Start the Hohe Mark Route at the Bocholter-Aasee lake. Cycle through a landscape like a picture book. Huge forest areas alternate with grassland, heath and moorland. As if by chance, noteworthy natural monuments, numerous moated castles, old farms, special gardens and other sights are scattered along the way. A relic from prehistoric times are the wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch in Dülmen.
Perhaps you would like to immerse yourself in Roman history in the LWL Roman Museum in Haltern and then in Lake Haltern? This lake landscape and other numerous natural paradises along the route invite you to linger.

The route connects the towns in our holiday region in the Münsterland.
We are happy to help you plan an individual Hohe Mark route.
