What we offer you
A three-year apprenticeship with the city of Bocholt with theoretical lessons at the Bocholt-West vocational college.
An exciting area of responsibility in the field of system administration and PC user service
Diverse areas of application: From music school to fire brigade
What you should bring with you
At least a technical secondary school leaving certificate (secondary school leaving certificate)
Technical understanding and interest
Enjoy solving IT challenges
Ability to work in a team
Service-orientation
Willingness to learn and perform
Flexibility
To start your apprenticeship, it is an advantage if you have already gained some experience in working with computers. Ideally, you will also have already worked with networks - this will make it easier for you to understand the technical connections later on. If you are also familiar with various operating systems such as Windows, macOS or Linux and know their basic functions, you already have a great basis for the apprenticeship.
This is how the training programme works
New e-mail for you - a ticket has been received. This is part of everyday life for IT specialists specialising in system integration. Colleagues from the various departments use the internal ticket system to report IT problems, which you analyse and resolve. But your tasks go far beyond this: you plan, install and operate networks and ensure that computer workstations are set up and ready for operation.
You will also be responsible for introducing new software and training employees in digital applications. Your goal: a municipal administration in which the technology functions smoothly - from the citizens' office to the registry office.
During your apprenticeship, you will not only learn the technical basics, but also how these are applied in the specific context of a public administration. As a result, you will be highly qualified after your apprenticeship - with sound knowledge and valuable practical experience in a modern municipal administration.
