IT Specialist System Integration

The three-year training takes place at the Bocholt municipal administration. The IT-related vocational school training is provided weekly by the Berufskolleg Bocholt-West and the business-related part by the Berufskolleg am Wasserturm.

The 1st year of training includes

• the creation of connections of systems
• the overview of information and communication technology systems in terms of areas of application, performance and economic efficiency
• assessing the compatibility of memory modules, input and output components and peripheral devices, programming techniques and programming logic, creating and connecting systems.

The 2nd and 3rd years of training comprise

• the examination of offers of information and telecommunication services
• the analysis of faults using diagnostic tools and the correction of fault typology and fault frequencies
• preparing projects and concepts for system solutions
• the introduction of system solutions in cooperation with the users
• the occurrence of hardware and software errors, operating errors and problems with information and work organisation
• the planning and implementation of user training

After successfully completing their vocational training, IT specialists for system integration can be employed in many authorities, organisations & companies in various fields to set up and support the IT infrastructure.
