Borken district to become more digital

The municipalities in the district of Borken are to become more digital. Under the title "Smarter Kreis Borken", the economic development agency of the district of Borken has launched a citizen participation campaign to this end. The city of Bocholt supports this campaign. Citizens of Bocholt can submit ideas and suggestions on an online portal.

The portal can be reached at www.wfg-borken.de/buergerbeteiligung.

"How can digital technology be made useful for the city and the citizenry?" - This is the question at stake. Examples include digital city entrance signs, bike and car sharing, level measurement for trash cans, a digital coach or much more. The public survey runs until December 11.
