Barloer Weg: Partial closure due to work at the Kortenhorn bus stop

There will be traffic disruptions on Barloer Weg from Monday, 18 May due to construction work. A new bus shelter will be erected in the area of the Kortenhorn bus stop, which is why the section of road will have to be closed to motorised traffic. An alternative bus stop will be set up for the city bus in the immediate vicinity.

Next Monday, 18 May 2026, work will start on the Kortenhorn bus stop on Barloer Weg. A new bus shelter will be built next to the existing bus shelter to improve weather protection for passengers.

Barloer Weg will have to be closed to motorised traffic at the bus stop for the duration of the work. It will not be possible for motorised vehicles to pass through during this period. However, pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to pass through the roadworks area.

The city bus routes are also affected by the measure. An alternative bus stop will be set up in the immediate vicinity for residents for the duration of the work so that bus services can continue as normal.
