Next round of the instrument carousel starts in April

From April 2026, a new instrument carousel will start at the music school. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years, no prior knowledge is required. On 17 March 2026, there will be an opportunity to get to know the offer in a free trial lesson without obligation.

The instrument carousel is an offer for children who are not yet sure which instrument they would like to learn. Music school teachers support them in this decision in a fun way.

A maximum of four children per group learn to play the flute, double bass, horn and clarinet in small groups. They switch to the next instrument every three weeks. The instruments can also be taken home for practising and trying out.

Lessons take place every Tuesday from 16:30 to 17:15 in the LernWerk (Industriestraße 1). Enrolment is now possible via the music school website. The monthly fee is 25.50 euros.

Interested children and their parents are also cordially invited to a free trial lesson on 17 March at 16:30 in the LernWerk. This is an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the concept, try out your first instruments and clarify any questions directly with the teachers.
