FW Bocholt: Fire brigade extinguishes flat fire in the attic

On Sunday evening at around 10.30 pm, the Bocholt fire brigade was alerted to a flat fire in the street In Drießens Weide in Bocholt. On site, the emergency services found an extensive room fire in the attic. As it could not be ruled out at the beginning that there were still people in the flat, the volunteer fire brigade was also alerted. The fire was quickly fought by several teams wearing breathing apparatus and using two attack lines. Fortunately, no one was injured during the operation.
During the entire duration of the operation, additional volunteers provided basic protection at the fire and rescue station.

In total, the fire and rescue services were deployed with 40 firefighters and 8 vehicles.
