Honors and promotions at the fire department

The emergency department of the fire department Bocholt-Suderwick and the youth fire department of the local group have traditionally accompanied the St. Martin's procession in Suderwick last week. Afterwards the honors and promotions were carried out in the fire station by the deputy mayor of the city of Bocholt, Kerstin Erkens, and the deputy chief of the volunteer fire department Bocholt, Marco Heisterkamp.

Stefan Willing (Unterbrandmeister), Karola Brink (Hauptfeuerwehrfrau), Til Straatman (Oberfeuerwehrmann) and Luisa Schumacher (Feuerwehrfrau) were promoted.

Thomas Teriete (40 years of membership) and Til Straatman (10 years of membership) were honored for their many years of membership with silver and bronze badges, respectively. Sabine Teriete was discharged from the operational department to the honorary department.
