Digital application: How to make the most of the modern application process
Online lecture for women // Speaker: Psychologist Sonja Schaten
The Internet also offers applicants completely new opportunities to introduce themselves. In an online lecture on November 10, psychologist Sonja Schaten will explain how to create a contemporary and appealing application in the digital age.
The Internet opens up a whole new range of possibilities for getting in touch with potential employers. Most companies now want digital applications by e-mail or online via a web form.
Although these applications reach the company more quickly than paper applications, they have to be prepared just as carefully, explains psychologist Sonja Schaten. In her online lecture, she addresses the pitfalls that every applicant should be aware of.
The lecture will also discuss how digital application documents should be structured and designed in a way that shows and what digital options are available for job searches and self-presentation.
Astrid Schupp, Bocholt's Equal Opportunities Officer, cordially invites all interested women to attend the lecture in the "Frau+Beruf" series. It begins on Thursday, November 10, at 7 pm. Interested parties can register by sending an e-mail to gleichstellung(at)bocholt(dot)de.
