Aasee Festival: Celebrations at the Aasee in August

Save the date: 11 - 13 August 2023 at the Aasee bathing bay in Bocholt

Food trucks, drinks stands, stage programme

After the successful highlight in the last anniversary year, there will also be an Aasee Festival at the bathing bay in Bocholt this summer. A repeat was the wish of many visitors. In a somewhat smaller form, a free stage and entertainment programme for the whole family will again be offered from 11-13 August. Various food trucks, drinks stands and the Strandcafé Ottilie will cater for the physical well-being.

Aasee Festival with music and actions

Separate area for children

In the freely accessible children's area, the little ones can let off steam, while the adults can relax in the deckchairs and seat cushions provided. The stage programme starts on Friday evening with electronic music by Brainstorm. On Saturday evening, our local radio station Radio WMW takes over the stage with the "Radio WMW Party" and the band "Live and Famous". Sunday starts with light music by Max Hünting at a communal breakfast at the bathing bay. From 4:30 p.m., Stefan Paßerschroer and then Django Flint will bring the weekend to a musical close in a cosy atmosphere.

"Three-day summer offer"

"With the Aasee Festival as a three-day summer offer to the citizens of Bocholt and of course also to all guests of our city, it is important to us that everyone can find themselves somewhere and have a good time this weekend at Bocholt's Aasee", is how city marketing manager Ludger Dieckhues explains the concept.

The Aasee Festival already promises to be a great and entertaining summer meeting place in Bocholt - even in a smaller form - where everyone will find their personal highlight of shows, music, culinary delights and children's programme.
