The Rhein-Trio was founded in 2020 by 3 Brazilian musicians based in Germany.

Besides the standard repertoire for flute, cello and piano, the Rhein-Trio wants to spread the Brazilian contemporary music for this unusual formation to premiere and record new music, also appreciating the exchange between entrepreneurs and composers.

In 2021, the chamber group debuted at the innovative Nextus Festival, performing in a livestreamed concert for a global audience.

In 2022, the Brazilian trio won a grant from Deutscher Musikrat/Neustart Kultur to perform 8 concerts within Germany. The tour programme celebrates 200 years of Brazilian independence and consists of Brazilian works and new orders.
