Bocholt Wine Festival
Palatinate wines and delicacies around the Georgs-Brunnen.
The opening is on Friday, 25 July at 5 pm by the Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff, the Wine Queen Barbara I and City Marketing Director Ludger Dieckhues.

The Bocholt Wine Festival, which takes place this year from 25 to 27 July , is a firm fixture in the diaries of many Bocholters and their guests. For the 29th time, seven winegrowers from the Palatinate will come to Bocholt and transform St.-Georg-Platz into a small wine village over these three days. Palatinate wines and other specialities can be enjoyed and tasted in a wine-loving atmosphere with a colourful music programme. The traditional Palatinate tarte flambée is also on offer.
Programme:
Friday, 25 July from 5 pm
5 pm - Official opening by Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff, Wine Queen Barbara I and Ludger Dieckhues from Stadtmarketing Bocholt. The Sporker Musikanten will provide the atmosphere that evening.
Saturday, 26 July from 12 noon
The Start-Up Party Band will provide the party atmosphere from 5.00 pm.
Sunday, 27 July from 12 noon
The duo 'Boogie & more' will provide background music from 2.30 pm.
6 pm - Coronation of the wine king/queen
Election of the Bocholt Wine King
A highlight of the Bocholt Wine Festival is the coronation of the Wine King.
Participation forms are available at all wine stands during the wine festival up to and including Saturday, 26 July, late in the evening. You can also fill in the questionnaire here during the wine festival weekend.
The prize is definitely something for wine lovers: a weekend in the Palatinate, a crate of wine donated by the Palatinate winegrowers, a gift from Juwelier Hermeier and two tickets for the Farmers Rock Festival in Lankern on 9 August.
The new Bocholt Wine Queen 2025 will be crowned and presented by City Marketing Director Ludger Dieckhues and the reigning Wine Queen Barbara I on St.-Georg-Platz on Sunday, 27 July at 6.00 pm.
