Magical Realism

Bocholt (shlu) Prof. Dr Michael Scheffel (University of Wuppertal) will speak on Monday 13 July, at the invitation of the Fontane Circle, on "magical" realism: Where does it come from, and what distinguishes it from other forms of "realism" or "fantasy"? These and other questions will be explored during the evening. The lecture will take place at 7 pm in the parish hall of the Christuskirche (Schwartzstraße 4) and admission is free. Donations are welcome.
