Classical Music Podium of the Music School

On Tuesday, 18 March 2022, a classical music podium for singing will take place at 6 pm in the St Agnes Chapel, Schonenberg in Bocholt. Young people and adults will interpret well-known songs there. Admission is at 5:30 pm. Admission is free.
As part of the audition week "Music School in Concert", the singing class of music school teacher Christa Warnke presents a "Classical Podium" in Bocholt's St. Agnes Chapel. Warnke's colleague Anna Maats accompanies the singers on the piano.
The choir of the Mariengymnasium, a cooperation project with the music school, sings a song from Ticino: "L'in verno é passato". The Singwerkstatt, a still very new offer of the music school for adult singers, performs other impressive songs. But also soloist and singer of the music school band "SNOB", Marcel Theißen, is back and sings, among others, "Der Tod und das Mädchen" by Franz Schubert. An ensemble has also come together for Handel's "Lascia".
Finally, soloist Iris Ellering-Möllenbeck will present the song "Im wunderschönen Monat Mai" from Robert Schumann's setting of Heinrich Heine's "Dichterliebe".
Admission is free. Reservations are not required.
