Europe Direct: Interesting discussions on the topic of "Ontgrenzen" at the German-Dutch regulars' table

Well-attended regulars' table // Lively discussion about the cross-border context

The regulars' table participants had a lively discussion with the speaker, who has already received an award from the Dutch royal house for her cross-border commitment.

The German-Dutch regulars' table on 16 March in the Kulturhus "Noaberz" in Dinxperlo as a cooperation event of Europe Direct Bocholt and the VHS was well attended. The speaker Christa van Dee gave an interesting and entertaining account of her numerous cross-border projects. The participants of the regulars' table asked numerous questions, so that I had a lively discussion with the speaker.

About the speaker

Christa van Dee was born in Groß-Netterden and grew up in the border region. She has already worked on over 50 projects in a cross-border context. She is an "Ontgrenzer" by passion and therefore always looking for solutions to obstacles in cross-border cooperation. Christa van Dee's work has been crowned by a royal award.

Projects

Christa van Dee carries out her projects with citizens, but also with schools. The topics are wide-ranging, from the cultural sphere to gender equality issues and transport planning. She takes the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals into account in her work. She has also been involved in Bocholt, among others in the European Youth Camp and the "September Art" project.
