Varied educational holidays at the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg adult education centre

The Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre offers a wide-ranging programme for different interests and levels of knowledge in the area of educational leave. From language courses to practice-orientated offers in the field of digital communication, the programme is aimed at professionals who want to expand their skills in a targeted manner.

A particular focus is on current requirements in the world of work. For example, a Canva course teaches basic and advanced skills for creating visual content for social media and marketing. Participants learn how to implement creative designs and campaigns, gain insights into design principles, colour psychology and typography and develop effective content for different platforms. Practical exercises and interactive methods such as "Reflection in Action" ensure lasting learning success.

Language courses and excursions

The programme also includes numerous Dutch language courses at various levels (without prior knowledge up to B1). The courses are designed as compact weekly formats or intensive programmes lasting several days and take place on Mondays to Fridays, Mondays to Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Vocabulary, grammar and, above all, practical communication skills for everyday life are taught. The use of digital materials and interactive learning methods support the learning process.

A special highlight of an intensive Dutch week is an excursion to the Netherlands, where participants can practise their language skills directly on site and gain cultural insights at the same time. The courses are taught by a native speaker.

Recognition of educational holidays

All educational holidays are recognised for various professional groups. The adult education centre supports interested parties in applying to their employer and provides the necessary documents. Registration for the courses must be made six weeks before the start of the course, for some courses at least five days before the start of the course.

Educational leave is subject to special approval procedures by the employer, so early registration is recommended. The courses take place at LernWerk or partly online via a data protection-compliant ZOOM licence.
