Reiner Heiß takes his retirement

Rainer Heiß, who was born in Bocholt, will take his well-deserved retirement on 1 May 2026. Most recently, he worked in cemetery maintenance.

After training as a baker, Rainer Heiß initially worked as an apprentice at the Bocktenk company and then moved to Lebo Türenwerke as a woodworker. As he wanted another career change, he applied to the city of Bocholt in 1999 for a job in the area of green space maintenance. From October 1999, he worked in the cemetery area.

In addition to general work at the cemetery on Blücherstraße, his main tasks included driving the escort vehicle for the cemetery excavator in preparation for burials.

The city of Bocholt would like to thank Reiner Heiß for his reliable work for over 25 years. Colleagues at the ESB wish him all the best for his retirement and thank him for his many years of trusting co-operation.
