Climate-friendly living!
The city of Bocholt is aiming for climate neutrality by 2040 - and is taking the challenges ahead seriously.
As part of the Münsterland ist Klimaland initiative, the district of Borken, among others, has set itself this ambitious goal. As a climate community in NRW, Bocholt is actively involved.
If everyone pitches in, it will be possible to create a climate-friendly Bocholt of the future. The first step is to update and further develop the Bocholt climate concept.
Commitment to climate protection
The last climate concept dates back to 2013, so there is a need for renewal.
Therefore, in December 2022, the specialist office Energielenker from Greven was commissioned to support the city of Bocholt in the development and implementation of effective measures that suit Bocholt.
Interested parties have the opportunity to participate through expert workshops and an online citizen survey including a short questionnaire.
