Fire Service Annual Report now available online

The Bocholt Fire Brigade has published its comprehensive annual report for 2025, which is now available to download free of charge from the town's website. Spanning more than 70 pages, the report documents the wide range of operations carried out in the areas of fire protection, technical rescue and emergency medical services. The report impressively highlights the high level of commitment shown by both full-time and volunteer staff to ensuring the safety of Bocholt's residents.

The Bocholt Fire Brigade can look back on a busy and action-packed 2025. The tried-and-tested system comprising the full-time station and the volunteer fire brigade units continued to ensure the safety of the public at all times last year. The statutory duties relating to fire safety, emergency assistance and civil protection were reliably carried out thanks to a well-coordinated structure and modern technology.

Once again, the ambulance service accounted for by far the largest proportion of all call-outs in 2025. With a total of around 12,900 call-outs, the emergency paramedics and ambulance paramedics provided indispensable medical assistance within the city and in neighbouring regions. In the field of fire safety and technical rescue, firefighters were called out to around 850 incidents. These ranged from tackling challenging fires to carrying out complex technical rescue operations following road traffic accidents or during severe weather events.
