On Saturday, 25.11.2023, the waste advisory service of the waste disposal and service company invites you to the Christmas edition of the bulky waste exchange. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you can rummage around for exciting finds on the company grounds on Schaffeldstraße. Waste advisor Petra Tacke hopes for many visitors in a buying mood.
Collection for the bulky waste exchange
In the weeks leading up to the bulky waste exchange, the recycling centre will be accepting Christmas items suitable for sale at the bulky waste exchange. Experience has shown that the best items to sell are the small treasures that can be easily transported home. For the waste advisor, the collection container is always a kind of surprise box.
Help from Bocholt associations
Volunteers support the ESB in setting up and selling. Helpers from the Child Protection Association support the waste advisor with the preparations. The THW youth is active as stewards and helps clean up after the fair.
Sale for a charitable institution
The main purpose of the bulky waste exchange is to reuse items that are in good condition and thus to promote sustainability. The more things that can be reused, the better. The proceeds of the bulky waste exchange go to a changing charitable institution in Bocholt.
