City Food Festival is growing: now also on Ravardistraße

Bocholt. The City Food Festival in Bocholt is getting bigger: in addition to St.-Georg-Platz, Ravardistraße will also be part of the event for the first time this year. This means that from the fountain on St.-Georg-Platz to the roundabout at the "Streetlife" pub on Ravardistraße, a continuous culinary experience mile will be created in the middle of the city centre.

After the new edition of the City Food Festival was announced at the beginning of the year, the idea also met with great interest in the Ravardi neighbourhood. Positive signals quickly came from local restaurants in particular - not least because similar ideas for revitalising the street had already existed. Together, the concept was quickly expanded.

The result: several local restaurateurs are actively involved in the festival and are supplementing their offerings with additional stalls directly in front of their businesses. Visitors can look forward to creative street food variations, specialities and a wide range of drinks.

During the festival, Ravardistraße itself becomes a lively street food mile that invites you to stroll, discover and enjoy. The already established beer garden atmosphere will be retained - but will be complemented by additional culinary offerings, more variety and an extended supporting programme with music.

Together with St.-Georg-Platz, this will create a varied event concept that will revitalise the city centre and focus on Bocholt's gastronomic diversity.

The City Food Festival will take place from 29 to 31 May 2026.
