Yarn on the track - handicraft meeting in the city library

Meeting point for joint handicrafts from 11 September 2025 every second Thursday of the month // 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the city library // Registration free of charge

Bocholt City Library invites all handicraft enthusiasts to the new creative get-together "Garn am Gleis". From 11 September, crochet, knitting and other handicraft projects can be carried out together in a cosy atmosphere and experiences can be exchanged.

As part of the Kulturrucksack NRW, the city library is inviting all graffiti and manga fans to two workshops during the summer and autumn holidays this year. Together with experts, anyone between the ages of 10 and 14 can design their own graffiti from 18 to 21 August and immerse themselves in manga worlds from 14 to 16 October. Registration is possible online and participation is free of charge.

Proceeds from the city library's book flea market will be donated to "Engagement für Menschen und deren Rechte e.V."

After the big Easter book flea market at Bocholt City Library, the proceeds collected this year totalling 1480 euros were handed over to the association "Menschen und deren Rechte e.V.".

On 3 June, he will be reading from his books "Der Buchspazierer" and "Die Butterbrotbriefe" in the city library. Tickets can be purchased at a reduced price in advance or at the box office.
