Julia Nakotte

My name is Julia Nakotte. I have been the neighbourhood manager for Fildeken-Rosenberg since 2023.

After completing my studies and working as a family support worker and case manager in Cologne, I moved back to my home town of Bocholt. It was here that I got to know and grow to love the Fildeken-Rosenberg neighbourhood through my job at the all-day school on Weserstraße.

That is why, in 2022, I founded the charity "Tür an Tür e.V." with a group of committed people from Bocholt. Our aim is to help shape neighbourhood development in Bocholt and to offer people a low-threshold point of contact. Since 2023, our association has been authorised to act as the organisation responsible for neighbourhood management in Fildeken-Rosenberg.

In my work, it's particularly important to me to treat people as equals. A sense of humour and a friendly, approachable manner are especially important to me.

Jasmin Paul

My name is Jasmin Paul, and I have been working at the Fildeken-Rosenberg neighbourhood office since December 2024.

I'm looking forward to working with the people in our neighbourhood. For me, social work is more than just a job. I really enjoy listening to local residents, understanding their interests and finding solutions together with them. It is important to me to treat everyone with respect and appreciation, as this is the only way to build trust.

My aim is to support people and accompany them through their life situations, whether that means helping to solve problems or connecting them with others. At the neighbourhood office, we provide a space for support, dialogue and community growth. Together with Julia, it is very important to me to help ensure that our neighbourhood develops into a place of togetherness and mutual support.

MONDAYS

11:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Everyday German for women

3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Open meeting

TUESDAYS

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Project Zaungespräche [On the Takenkamp]

WEDNESDAYS

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Painting meeting

12:00 to 15:00: Open meeting place

THURSDAYS

09:30 to 11:30: Breakfast together [every 2nd Thursday of the month, Apostelkirche parish hall] Cost: EUR 4.50

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Coffee party [every 1st Thursday of the month]

FRIDAY

16:00 to 18:00: Chess get-together [every fortnight]
