Garden meets literature: "Green Reads" with Britta Telahr
Book presentation with garden designer Britta Telahr // Thursday, 18 June 2026 at 7:30 pm in the city library // Tickets available in advance and at the box office
On 18 June at 19:30, Bocholt City Library is once again hosting the event series "Green Reads: Garden meets Literature". After last year's successful premiere, this time the evening will be dedicated to creative garden design and literature about nature and gardens.
Bocholt-based perennial gardener and garden designer Britta Telahr will be a guest at the event, where she will report from her book "100 Design Ideas for Small Gardens" and present practical ideas and creative concepts for designing small garden spaces. With her many years of experience, she will provide valuable insights into garden planning, share helpful practical tips and answer visitors' questions.
The City Library team will also be presenting a selection of books on the subject of "Nature and Garden" - from inspiring illustrated books and practical guides to atmospheric novels that whet the appetite for nature.
"Gardens and books have something in common: both open up new perspectives, provide inspiration and invite you to see the world with different eyes", says Klaudia Kroesen, literature and garden expert from Bocholt City Library. "With 'Green Reads', we want to bring people together who enjoy nature, design and good stories - and make them want to discover new things", she explains.
