To mark the 50th anniversary of the Suderwick branch of Bocholt Municipal Library, Judith Weber will be reading from her picture book "The Head Bear Isn't Procrastinating!". The story centres on Kobi, a blue bear who sees the world in his very own way and uses his vivid imagination to find solutions.

In the story, Kobi is looking forward to his grandmother's return from a trip round the world. Whilst his parents are getting flustered about the upcoming visit, Kobi wonders why everyone always has to be in such a hurry. His answer is a special 'children's time' clock, designed to slow everyday life down a little.

The reading session is designed as an interactive experience. The children don't just listen; they are actively involved in the story. Judith Weber combines reading aloud, storytelling and interactive activities, addressing themes that many families recognise from their everyday lives.

The event is part of the programme marking the 50th anniversary of the Suderwick branch of the municipal library. Through this reading, the municipal library aims to spark a love of books and stories, particularly amongst younger children.
