Guardianship law: power of attorney, living will and more - how to take good precautions

As part of the training program "Well trained - Well represented", a training course on "Precautionary arrangements" will be held on Monday, June 13, for voluntary caregivers, authorized representatives and interested citizens. The training will cover topics such as health care proxy, living will and living will as well as organ donation options.

The event lasts about two and a half hours and starts at 6:30 p.m. in the offices of the Social Service of Catholic Women (SkF, Langenbergstraße 18). Registrations are possible under Tel. 02871 25182-23. Participation is free of charge.

To meet precaution is not a question of age and concerns each humans. On this evening, speaker Sanna Zachej from the SkF will provide an insight into the legal options for making self-determined and forward-looking provisions for emergencies. She will explain how to ensure that one's own will continues to be taken into account even in difficult life situations. Participants will receive information and practical advice on drawing up powers of attorney and dispositions.

The event is a cooperation event of the working group for the care system in the city of Bocholt. This includes the guardianship office of the city of Bocholt as well as the guardianship associations of the SkF Bocholt and the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Bocholt.
