Peter Bölting celebrates his anniversary with the city of Bocholt

Peter Bölting from Bocholt City Council is celebrating a long service anniversary. The head of the Organisation and Human Resources department has been working in the public sector for 40 years, including around 30 years at Bocholt City Council.

After training as an interior decorator, the Rheder native enlisted as a temporary soldier in the German Armed Forces. During this time, he qualified as an instructor, which laid the foundation for his further professional development. Peter Bölting began his service with the city of Bocholt in 1994 and has held various positions since then. Over the years, he has acquired particular expertise in the area of human resources. Job planning, marketing, health promotion and digital transformation are just as much a part of his work as ensuring a pleasant working atmosphere within the administration. "Commitment and innovative strength" characterise the jubilarian, praises the city of Bocholt.
