Street theatre: Mission Man - 6 men in 6 days

On Wednesday 5 August 2026, Bocholt's Aasee (on the bank by the Seglerheim) will become the setting for an entertaining open-air theatre evening. The Theater an der Niebuhrg is presenting the musical comedy "Mission Mann - 6 Men in 6 Days". Admission is free; you are welcome to bring your own seating.

This play, written and produced in-house, centres on love and friendship: two friends are on the hunt for Mr Right - one just for a night, the other for a lifetime. An advert in the newspaper comes at just the right time: "Meet 6 top blokes in 6 days". But are they really as "top" as they seem?

A whirlwind dating marathon begins, with plenty of surprises in store for Bea (Anjuschka Uher) and Nadja (Désirée Burger). With plenty of music from Schlager, pop and musicals, the play tackles various clichés head-on with girl power and wit.
