Welcome to the world of music: children, young people and adults are taught at the music school. No matter whether you are a beginner or an advanced musician - the music school has interesting offers for every group.

Subjects at the music school

The music school offers training in group or individual lessons on almost all instruments.

• String instruments (guitar, electric guitar, electric bass)
• Keyboard instruments (piano, accordion, keyboard)
• String instruments (violin, viola, violoncello, double bass)
• Woodwind instruments (recorder, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone)
• Brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, horn, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, tuba)
• Percussion instruments (drums)
• Folk instruments (singing, including piano accompaniment)
• Theory (preparatory music theory and ear training, jazz theory, correpetition)
• Other (chamber music, competition preparation)

Children's musical

For children aged 6 and over.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 pm in the auditorium of the Bocholt Comprehensive School (Rheinstraße 4).

Last performed: "Ufo - no wish is indifferent".

Parents' and Sponsors' Association of the Music School Bocholt e.V.

Parents and interested people voluntarily form the "Eltern- und Förderkreis Musikschule Bocholt e.V.".

Thanks to this private commitment, many projects and events have already been realised that would not have been feasible with the public funds of the music school, including the promotion of musical talents, the purchase and maintenance of musical material, the promotion of events, concert tours and public relations work.

The support group is the contact body for pupils, teachers and parents. It represents the music school's interests on a political and social level.
