Children and young people who find themselves in an emergency situation can visit the youth welfare office at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 77 . The contact person there will help them find a way out of the crisis situation immediately.

The social office of the Liebfrauen parish "Open ear"
The social office "Offenes Ohr" is located in the Herz Jesu parish centre, Klausenerstr. 14, 46397 Bocholt. It is a cooperation between the parish charity and the parishes of St. Georg, St. Josef and Liebfrauen in Bocholt.
The "Open Ear" is a contact point for people who find themselves in difficult life situations. Regardless of religion or nationality, the social office is there for everyone in Bocholt.
The volunteers working there, who are sworn to absolute secrecy, offer confidential counselling, help in the search for solutions and provide competent help. In addition, material help is available in urgent emergency situations.

The Integration Office with its Integration Officer, Bruno Wansing, does not provide psycho-social counselling. However, if you feel alone or marginalised too often as a person with an international family history and would like to be more involved in public life, Bruno Wansing will be happy to help you. He can help you get involved with local organisations and institutions and also works closely with the volunteer agency.
