The Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), the Deutsche-Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG), the German Red Cross (DRK), the Bocholt Fire Department, the Malteser Hilfsdienst (MHD), the police, the Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) and the customs will be there.

One of the highlights will be the various operational demonstrations, which will focus on the cooperation between the different blue-light organizations. Other main attractions are the various emergency vehicles and the equipment exhibited by the organizations, as well as the animal support that the emergency forces receive in the form of rescue dogs.

The Bocholt Blue Light Day is intended to strengthen the voluntary commitment in the blue light organizations.

*What is "Kubaai"?

The abbreviation "Kubaai" stands for "Kulturquartier Bocholt Aa und Industriestraße" and refers to the transformation of a historic industrial wasteland into a new urban quarter between Bocholt's city center and the Aasee lake. A striking element for the quarter is the large podium bridge. Info at www.kubaai.de.
