Metakilla: The Original Metallica Tribute
Great passion for the music of Metallica is one of the reasons why Metakilla has been demonstrably so successful over the years as Germany's most booked Metallica tribute band since 2005. With more than 200 top-class shows, the band has earned a firm place in the professional tribute scene.
The four trained musicians from the Saarland place great emphasis on their show concept with powerful live sound, their own pyrotechnics and a stage look that is planned down to the last detail.
The outfit and all the instruments are ORIGINALS of the same equipment that Metallica currently play on the biggest stages in the world.
The first highlight came in 2008, when Metakilla were officially signed up for one of the biggest heavy metal festivals in the world, the W:O:A "Wacken Open-Air".
So the troupe is by no means just a colourless cover band; even Metallica frontman James Hetfield showed his enthusiasm before his own concert in Stuttgart in 2009.
With their many years of experience and attention to detail, Metakilla set the standard for authentic Metallica tribute shows in Germany as well as in the rest of Europe.
