Landscapes as spaces of the imagination

Brigitte Groot (born 1943):

"For me, landscape painting is the attempt to mediate between nature and man, combined with the utopian-seeming intention to recreate a lost unity. Thus this painting stands for the idea of wholeness. The mood of a concrete landscape triggers sensations in the viewer that sometimes make him sense the creative process of nature."

After the exhibition, the artist will give part of the paintings as a donation to the EUREGIO-Kunstkreis Bocholt e.V..

You can visit the exhibition from 26 March to 28 May 2023. Opening hours are:

• Tuesday to Friday from 3 - 6 pm
• Saturday and Sunday from 11 - 13 h and 15 - 18 h or
• by appointment.
