Cinema film Smoke Sauna Sisterhood free of charge at the Kinodrom

The LUX Audience Award has been organised by the European Parliament since 2020. Bocholt is taking part for the first time in 2024. Citizens are invited to vote on the five nominated films. Half of the votes will be included in the final result for the film award. Participants can win a ticket for the award ceremony in Brussels.

On 23 February, the fourth film in the film series, here: "Smoke Sauna Sisterhood" by Estonian director Anna Hints, will be screened on 23 February. The film tells the story of a group of women who meet in the safe darkness of a smoke sauna to share their innermost thoughts and secrets. Enveloped in a warm, dense heat, they bare all to banish fears and shame and draw new strength.

Following the performance, EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt will be available to answer questions about the evaluation. Visitors are asked to bring their mobile phones to the event.
